Internet Disconnects

My 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL Modem Router DG834GSP v3 NetGear keeps disconnecting while i download something. Like 50% through the download it will disconnect and it will take several tries to download the file. Our company is optus. Help please?

Is you wireless disconnection as well, or just the ADSL side?

Have you phoned your ISP to check for problems?

Have you tried a firmware upgrade? If the modem is fairly new, you could swap it out for a new one as well

Im not very good with all this internet stuff, i only use local area connection not wireless, I duno why . Whats ISP?
