Internet down in Morningside, Sandton.

Hi guys

My Internet has been down for over 2 weeks now... more specifically the Internet light does not illuminate red or green on my router. I logged a fault with Telkom and a technician came by on Tuesday. He says that he checked the line and everything is in order so my router must be faulty. I therefore tried a different router, when I got home but still no Internet.

I suspect that the technician lied and that the line is dead as 2 different routers aren't picking up an ADSL signal. I've also seen trenches being dug up around the area, could that be related to my dead line?
 
is it resolved? mine down for 7 days now. finally technician came 2days back and said internet port must be changed. it will work in one day. since then his phone is off. internet light is not on. same issue as yours. customer care says technician will fix it we cant do much. pls help
