Internet down. Please help???

I'm with Vox and I've tested my line with my telephone and it works, but I dont have any internet. I've tried a port reset, router reset. I phoned Vox and Telkom and everything seems fine on their side. Nobody can give me answers. This is now the 3rd day without internet. Btw I'm on VDSL2.

Make sure you have the vlan set to 835 or auths will fail.

It is set to 835.

Use the test credentials

See if you can access saix.net

If you can dial these credentials successfully then you have a no authentication fault. Line might sync fine but an issue with the dslam backhaul.

Line is not even syncing.

What line speed do you have?

Change modulation to ADSL to see if it syncs then.

I've tried that already. Nothing.I'm on a 40Mbps line with Vox which I downgraded on Thursday to a 20Mbps line speed because I'm too far away from the exchange.

So either your modem is broken or there is an issue at the dslam.

The modem is not even syncing.

Let Vox or Telkom log a fault for a tech to check the line.

I have logged a fault. I'm waiting for the techie to come out and check. Not sure how long that is going to take. I dont think it's my modem. Could be on the dslam's side. Telkom says the line syncs just fine on their side. Vix also don't see any problems. I plugged i an landline phone earlier. I get a dial tone and when dialling a number the lady talks back to me. Lol

Mine is dropping randomly, regardless of which of my routers I use. The last 2 weeks.
