Internet Expert/Job Forum (your input needed)

Hi Folks

I have been contacted by a Botswana based company in need of an Internet expert (professional) to evaluate a certain service: “We need expert evaluation and a report on the quality of service and actual throughput…Basically we need an Internet expert that is very knowledgeable with the effects of influences on an Internet feed, to the end user…We can meet in SA for the person to access the whole issue and provide us with a quote, which we will pay as agreed.”.

While on the topic of contracts etc., do you guys feel that it will be of value to add a job forum/facility? I am quite regularly contacted by companies looking for a certain service from us, and maybe a forum can ease my task and give forum members a chance to make a few bucks… Please give your views on the matter.

Might not be a bad idea rpm, myadsl.co.za empowering it's members (as long as the forum is not spammed by people offering all kinds of useless services).

Only partially go along with this. Commercial organisations and public bodies looking for expertise must pay for the services offered by sites dedicated to this kind of service, and not look to prostitute the cleanliness and saintliness of the MyADSL focus, if you'll excuse the waxing lyrical. On the other hand, any non-profit/Section 21 or member of civil society (NGO's, CFO's, etc.) would be welcome, provided their focus is on societal development, and not something stupid like secular, political or other blinkered viewpoint...

Why not offer them a banner ad to be placed on this site? This way everyone wins. They possibly find the perfect person for the job, myadsl benefits and so does the person getting the job.

I agree with mbs concerning non profit organisations.
