Hi Guys/Ladies

Hope someone can perheps shed some light on my problem.

For a few days now I suddenly get pages that does not load on either Firefox or IE, while they did in the past. Indicate "done" but nothing displays. Also get a funny when I use www.aardvark.co.za: I can enter the search criteria and it will perform the search and load all the border framed data, but not the search results. I have 2 PC linked to my Mega 105WR modem, both on Win XP SP2 and both does this on Firefox and IE, indicating that it might be a setting on the modem.

I did reset the modem to default settings by accident a few days ago, so is it the modem and do you perhaps know what I need to change?

Will appreciate any help.

Thanx

a Friend had the same problem yesterday, try alternate DNS servers, like openDNS, also, try deleting the browser cache completely. Also, make sure you arent capped, some ISP's, like iBurst, etc, still allow you to browse. albeit so slow, that some sites fail to load.

have a deep spyware&virus scan done...

for anti-spyware go spybot s&d 1.6.2 and malware bytes.
for trend housecall online and after that avast free.

sounds like something is doing a hijack on your dns

I am having the same problem both with IE 8 and Firefox.

I get the Diagnose connection problem with IE 8 and "done" with Firefox

I have the same issue at the office, we are using an IS Sattelite (pardon the spelling) connection and the connection sucks. At home however, I have NO issues, the provider is the same (IS), the only difference is that I am using their SAT3 connection.

Thanx for all the suggestions!

Tried different DNS - did not help. I have Malwarebytes installed permanently as well as NOD32 - even if I disable both - still same problem. Flushed DNS as suggested - still did not fix problem.

Where any of you who said you have same problem been able to resolve it?

Telkom or MyISP on Router/Modem - ipconfig/all = 10.0.0.2 (modem address).
