Internet problem after update

Last night I updated my software on the bold to 6.0.2534 and since then I am having problems with the internet. I either get a message saying "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later" or something along the line of " a communication failure has occurred..."

This only started happening after I updated to the new software.

Any help on resolving this please.

have you tried downloading the settings from your SP ??
Just a thought
 
Jaa mtn .....i am on voda i can request them to send settings to my phone on vodacoms web site or there is a code to send to vodacom for them to send the settings ...dont know how MTN works
Internet settings over the air is what vodacom call it ,,they send the settings to your phone

Try *141*11# or dial 0831555 toll free from a mtn numb.before u do that pls check you network is on manually.

I get a reply saying that the service is only available for mtnanytime,pay aas you go and mtn topup. When I dail the number it just disconnects,does not even ring or anything.
 
If you contract client,contact your service provider,dial 808 or 1555.call from another mtn number preferablymake sure all your handset settings are correct.
 
I want to download the firmware again, which will be best. From the mtn website or from the RIM website?
 
Load the sftwre of the vendor logo it shows,in your case probably should be mtn.or best co tact your sp.regards wish good luck.
