so my host name on the router looks like this:

196-xxx-xxx-xxx-wfor-esr-2.dynamic.isadsl.co.za

does anyone know what the wfor-esr-2 bit means?

I think this is the closest up link to your location. Its got nothing to do with the exchange cause I live in Richards Bay and I use. Taj Mahal 2 Durban.
