Internet tethering on Windows 7

Hi

I have an iphone 3GS on OS4.0.1 (JB).
I followed the instructions and switched on 'internet tethering' under network setting on my iphone.

As i understand, my computer(on Windows 7) supposed to automatically pick up the phone as an internet access point... but mine dosent. Nothing changes on my computer.

Any help?

If it is connected via cable, it should pick it up. Bluetooth is somewhat of a nightmare, as there are no proper win 7 bluetooth drivers for the iPhone (well, I have been unable to get something)

i concur with renierp... forget bluetooth....cable is seamless...

I wana connect through cable. My Internet tethering is enabled, but Win7 dosent pick it up....
It makes a sound to say that something is being connected to the computer, but nothing after that.

Update Itunes to version 10.1. What I also discovered is that tethering will only enable if a request is done to the internet. So try opening your browser when your iphone is connected
