internetVPN - Please help

Hi guys,
I have a problem you have dealed with in the forum, with a Huawei 3G USB modem (which I bought a month ago), and a Nortel Networks 6_01 VPN client.
The VPN stopped working a few days ago, it now just holds on to the "Checking for banner text from" message and then disconnects.

I have read the internetVPN thread and I hope I can solve my issue, by "translating" the requirements to my carrier.. which is in Argentina. If I understood correctly, I believe everything is related to the APN, so my carrier may have changed something in the network disallowing the ports which make the VPN work.

I would like to know, if any of you magic-doers can tell me, what I should tell the carrier's support guys: Meaning, what does this internetVPN APN implies that makes the VPN work? (static IP? allowing specific ports?) Becouse I've already told them I cannot connect to my corporate's VPN, but I am afraid I'll need to give them a few more technical details, so they escalate the ticket with detailed info.
