Sadly we may never see this in our life time. I think greed contributes a lot to us not having a GP... Or is just a matter of upgrading Kyalami? Years back "infrastructure" used to an issue. Surely that can't still hold true post SWC?

What about turning the streets of Cape Town into a Monaco styled GP? I've read quite a bit about that lately but I also read there will be quite a few obstacles to overcome as well.

As much as it would be awesome to get a GP back, let's be realistic here, it's unlikely to happen.

And quite honestly we have enough mickey mouse street circuits already, I think it's time to lay Mr Tilke out to pasture, and bring back some classic free-flowing circuits.

IIRC, the FIA expects the host country to carry most of the costs involved in hosting the GP. That may be the real reason why we it's unlikely to come back here.
