I recently put up my 366cm x 76cm intex prism frame pool.i did the manual cleaning.filter changed,,
vacuumjng ,etc.but have no idea what chemicals/products to use.water is merky after yesterday's party.please help.

Like a normal pool, you'll probably have to make sure the chemical balance is correct.

You can buy mini floaters with tablets for them but imo you pay a premium when it is branded specific stuff, imo get yourself some test strips and chlorine, I would premix the chlorine in a bucket though instead of just dumping it in as the lining will be way more sensitive that an actual pool

I personally like aqua pro but hth will be fine, any generic granular chlorine will do really. As for dosage, I would follow directions and take measurements, but I assume shocking it would be like 1/4 cup and normal dose probably really low like 1/8 cup (note these are really thumb suck and you should follow directions and adjust per measurement)

If you wanna make life easier just buy one of the small floaters and open it on the small setting.

thanks.will this regulate all the required levels as per the test strips

yeah it will, it might just take longer to get going than direct treatment, you can always open it to the medium setting them slide it back after a day or so.

thanks.can i use the pool while its been treated

Blue 52 worked for me.One bottle is split up into 4 weekly portions. I usually pour one weekly portion in a bucket and mix it lekka with water, till dissolved, then add to pool.
Also had a floater with some of those pills I place inside, every now and again.

Those floaters won't clear it, you'll need something like those R20 shock packs or something to clear it. The floaters only help after the clearing, to sustain the clarity for a tad longer.

note this is a tiny pool, like 1/10 of the normal water capacity of a regular 90's type pool
