Looking for a Inverter for my LDV. 2000W would be fine. JHB and PTA region. Who supplys these units? Any help will be appreciated.
 
I've got a feeling that a smallish generator will be more suitable for what you intend doing.

The Inverter is going to be cheap compared to the amount of deep cycle batteries you'll require.
Inverter + 4 Deep cycle batteries + C-Tec charger. Not sure if your going to get more than a hours worth of power out of it...

Small generator might be more practical.

That's the point I was trying to make as well.

Even if he connecting it to the LDV's battery would be suicide - well not really, but he'll reduce the battery's lifespan heavily.
