Inverter Trolley Safety

Hi all
I just bought a RCT megapower T1000 trolley and was wondering if a 10amp breaker switch would be a good idea in-between the trolley and my TV/dstv/ematic etc? In case something does go wrong in years to come with the trolley?
If not; Recommendations please.

i'm no sparky, but 10a is for 'lights' i think. the neatest way to use a power trolley is to make tea on it, then you have a powered tea trolley

Or park it on someone's chest and then sit on it

Better keep your load below about 50 W or it will be months, not years. Single 100 Ah lead acid is very small for a 1kW output.

Anyway don't think you need a breaker. It'll have its own overload protection.

Not needed inverter will have its own protection for the output. You can put a surge arrestor on the input of the inverter to protect the input and voltage spikes and so on.
