Had one on my desire. Piece of overpriced junk with no backup service in SA imho... It does "self heal" a bit but never quite 100% so you end up with a sort of orange skin effect. I remember the day I took it off, it was like getting a new phone all over again. It's still so nice and shiny actually 
Also it ended up lifting at the edges and I applied it pretty much perfectly. That looked really **** and went brown with dirt etc. It does work for protecting your device of course but any cheapy cover can do that and its then cheap to replace when it starts to not look so good.
