Hi there everyone

I have been capped for this month (I have Telkom's Do Broadband 2 deal, 5GB international data a month with 30GB local data) and I do not want to waste my local data: I want to download a whole load of series but I can't with only 5gb, so is it is possible if someone generous could PLEASE help me out here by sending me an invitation code for registration on NZBSA.CO.ZA?? Would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Translator (tłumacz) angielsko polski - wielojęzykowy i darmowy. Wpisz w poniższym formularzu tekst do tłumaczenia a następnie wybierz język źródłowy i docelowy. W przygotowaniu nowy tłumacz i translator polski, niemiecki, francuski, czeski i włoski oraz słownik ortograficzny, słownik wyrazów obcych, slownik wyrazów bliskoznacznych i slownik synonimów.

Why do you guys even want accounts at these local news sites, besides for the people who doesn't have international cap left to even access International indexing sites?! Just use like newzleech/nzbmatrix to get all the .nzb files.

i reckon that's pretty much the only reason, the noobs don't know how to use your GPRS cellphone from 1933 as an emergency modem. :) also you get a better idea on what's cached on the local free servers

I really don't know how anyone can actually survive without international cap in the first place. It is as good as being without Internet access at all!

I'm actually tempted to ask for an invite just to see how accurate the reports on the cached files are! I rarely have caching issues, because I'm always downloading the latest stuff.

It is actually now the time of the month where you can reboot your ADSL modem to let it redial your Telkom account for local only access (you have to have depleted your international cap), and to then keep the modem connected on that local only account in the next month.
Then when next month comes, you simply dial more instances of your Telkom account to get international access and with the use of something like RouteSentry or my Traffic Splitter application - you can actually split the local & international traffic on a single Telkom account :D
I haven't done this myself, because I will NEVER use a Telkom account unless there is a very good reason to get one instead of uncapped.

For some reason another member actually asked me for an news server invite this morning and this was before I event replied on this thread + I've never ever said that I have access to any local news sites - LOL.

To see what's cached on the news servers, and also to access them while using local-only bandwith.

Just because you're using your SAIX local-only to download, doesn't mean you don't have a 1 or 2 GB international cap from a different cheap ISP eg Afrihost.

I've never had the need to check if something is cached / not :) But I'd guess that it could be useful if you want to get something that isn't popular or is from higher quality than HDTV content?
I know I had issues with caching when I used the Web Africa news server, but with the Mweb news servers I have none! I'm also using IS's news server to speed up things, but I often find myself that it doesn't download nearly as fast as from Mweb's news server.
Anyone else have similar experience with these news servers?
Randhir: have you ever had to check if the stuff that you download was cached / not?

Well then you'd have no issues to simply download the zipped .nzb file from an international indexing site :)

Besides the caching / local only reasons for using nzbsa... Does someone have scripts or something similar to automatically download stuff by automatically getting the .nzb files from nzbsa as soon as they're uploaded?
For instance, I've written something to automatically download the stuff from nzbmatrix, and I know that if you have a VIP (paid) account at NZBmatrix, that sabdnzb can also download it automatically for you.

For a limited time only nzbsa is open for those who wish to sign up.

Nzbsa is not open for invites now, but if someone needs an invite, pm me.
