IOL de ja vu?

I laugh every time I see the page title IOL - Breaking news and they have stories that broke the day before.
 
I used to work for IOL back in the days, in my youth :D. Things were quite different then. We had sources in high places and we used to break the news. I remember at one stage there was a bank robbery [in progress] near our office in St Georges Mall... we went out with our laptops and cameras and gave a blow by blow report on what was happening inside the bank because we had someone on the inside... gone are those days... now the news editors of today sit on their computers and wait for news wires to 'break' the news.

At least they get their facts straight most of the time. News24 seems to have mistakenly hired a bunch of fantasy writers instead of journalists.
