please will someone help me, i have updated to iOS 5 and it is working great however.... my lock screen is showing no notifications. they are enabled in the settings/notifications so i dont know... please help me

Notifications don't show on Locked screen at all. It will show u either the banner or alert. to get to the notification screen you need to unlock and then pull down.

Yes it does show notifications on lock screen. Mine is setup properly and it works depending on which apps I have chosen to display. Check your settings.

Those are alerts and banners. Notifications wont pull down from lock screen, thats what he was asking about.

Ohhh my mistake! If that's what the OP was talking about then no, you cannot pull down the notification screen when phone is locked.

it will man... if you get more then one notification then only does the pull down appear.

Anycase how u enjoying ios5 so far looney. i find it much better then 4.3.5. lots to still learn though

its working perfectly like if you get a message and a facebook notification the lock screen will appear with the pull down handle. once you pull it down just touch and slide on one of the notifications that you want to view and it will work!

ahhh didint know that 1, lol, we learn new things every few mins here

Oh well iv never tested if the pull down works if u get more than one notification, but I'll take ur word for it :)

Yeah I dig iOS 5, however, being part of the beta testers, I am quite disappointed with the official releases battery life. My battery does not last as long as it did with beta 7, I think they could have done a better job with the battery life. That's just my experience :)

how long does it last and how long did the beta 7 last?

Well beta 7 was able to last me a day and a half, where as official will last me slightly less than a day. When I upgraded to GM, I charged my phone 3 times in one day because my battery kept on draining and I barely used the phone :/ but other people will have different experiences then me. Perhaps its not ios 5 itself, perhaps its all the apps that I have (roughly 90 apps) and most of them havent been optimized for ios 5.
