iOs 5?

Does anybody know when Apple is launching the new iOs? I've been waiting and waiting. I thought it would be september sometime?

October 4th or 24th.

October 10th most likely. After the October 4th new iPhone announcement, there is about a week period for testing GM build for developers after which it is released to the public

Seems like every site on the internet is reporting that 4 October is the date but Apple's site is quiet?

Apple has now officially sent invitations for their October 4th iPhone event.

October 4 is the launch date for *something* and it is reasonable to think that iOS5 might well be among those. But launch <> available for download. That could come a week or two later.

October 4 they will anounce the next Gen iphone and Most reckon by the 10th iOS5 will be out for download.

But you cant always count on these rumours so in a month I reckon iOS5 will be out latests and A jailbreak should take about 3weeks becaue its a highly wanted iOS update.
