Hopefully it'll fix iOS6 issues ...

Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air
Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard
Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off
Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod Touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks
Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances
Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
Fixes a Passcode Lock bug that sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen
Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings

Wanted to update my wife's phone yesterday evening to 6.0, then saw 6.0.1 is out. Will install it tonight.

Hold that right there.

Wait till it is confirmed that 6.0.1 is the cure.

Stick with 5.1.1 for now (as Morkhans said).

Take it from me. 6.0 is a disaster. No need to do that to yourself.

Besides, 6.0.1 is fairly new, we don't know yet what it'll break this time.

If you're on iOS 5.x don't upgrade to iOS 6.x yet. Better wait for a month just to make sure that the issues experienced with iOS 6.0 is resolved with iOS 6.0.1



You have been warned. Don't come crying to papa Ook if iOS 6.0.1 also have fatal flaws. :p
 
Still using iOS 5 and enjoying my Google Maps. All is stable and everything works well so far.
