Lots of reports about touch id doing dodgy stuff after the update.

Are the issues not limited to the app store? Don't buy often enough for that to be a problem but sign in would be a worry.

Im not 100% sure, I saw an article about it and just glanced through it.
There was a concern about security though, if touch id isnt working properly then it could mean its vulnerable.

That is a bit too technical for me on my phone I have 12.1 gb available that means iOS 8.12 takes up 3.9 gb of space. So how much free space will you have on a 16 gb phone?

Probably out about the same, my free space is still the same as before the update.

TouchID was always working, what happened was for a day or so the AppStore wasn't accepting touchID to verify purchases. It started working again properly for me yesterday. I think it was more of an AppStore problem than a TouchID problem.

It seems to have fixed the bug in select/copy/paste on certain sites on iPad. It was getting frustrating where it took 4 or 5 attempts to get the pop up to stay on screen.

No problems so far. WifiCalling on the iPhone seems to be a battery saver as well, connected to a strong wifi instead of a weaker cellular signal must be much easier on the power required.

Yeah its about bloody time, I have gone as far as stop using my Ipad as this was driving me insane, My Wifi is also not freezing anymore.
Best IOS8 this far, most problems i had is fixed, device still not as fast as it was on IOS7 though.

If anyone was wondering (hint, hint) I managed to sort out this issue...for the time being anyway - I restored my phone from the last backup, and my emails started downloading again. This worked for about a day, when it started again. I found that there are people experiencing the same issue - they can send emails - just not receive them...weird.

Happens all the time to me. Especially on some apps/websites when you need to enter numbers - I have to flip back/forth between numbers and regular keyboard. Was not like that before the upgrade.
