IOS4.3 - VPN disconnects on screen lock

Since upgrading to IOS4.3 my iPhone drops it's VPN connection every time the screen locks. 4.2 did not do this. I've googlesd and don't seem to find an answers.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

KeepAwake SbSettings toggle from Cydia for jailbroken iPhones.

Thanks. Installed a thing called Insomnia (better reviews than KeepAwake). Will see how it goes at office next week.

Ok cool. I just heard of incompatibilities with Insomnia which Is why I suggested KeepAwake.

If you get Cutting out ringtones/SMS tones etc it's cos of Insomnia apparently.

/me uninstalls Insomnia. Installs KeepAwake.

Non-Jailbreak solution found!

The wifi does NOT disconnect when phone is plugged into power. Keep phone in doc / plugged into charger solves the issue.

FYI - I;m on ios 5 beta 3 and it's done this disconnect thing on every release since 4.2. 4.1 never used to disconnect.
