IP address when capped

I've heard that the second last grouping of digits of your assigned IP becomes a single digit when you have been capped, eg xxx.xxx.3.xxx.

Anyone know if this is true?

I think its true, I just checked mine, and I've been capped , and I've got xxx.xxx.2.xxx, hmmm interesting..............

Yes so it seems. I've been capped within 3 days of getting adsl.
