IP Camera, 60fps and 720p?

I've been left pet sitting while everyone else has gone away on holiday.

We set up a wireless 720p camera and can see where the dogs are in the garden but there isn't much detail over say, 10/15 metres. For instance we have two schnauzers and it's dificult to identify which one is which.

Fantastic to log on from work and see all 3 dogs are happy but higher resolution might have been better.

There are (too) many options out there. This is the industry I work in for a distribution company. Are you connecting straight to the camera or to a recorder to which the camera is connected?

Which brand of camera is this?

The quality of picture may be impacted because you are viewing over WAN in some instances. So many variables really.

Its literally just to check up on my pets in my garden, but you are correct. There are so many options and things however I know little to nothing about them.

I'd probably get something like this:
https://www.takealot.com/ezviz-husk...camera-2-8mm/PLID51983010/product-information

As it seems to be okay for just watching pets...

Does it need to be a wifi camera?

I'm asking because in the world of video every bit of latency is critical. It's okay when you're sitting at home, but when you are over at the office it makes a huge difference, trust me.

I could get you something at roughly half that price if you're willing to wire it up rather (either through PoE - Power over Ethernet or 12VDC).

No Eth/PoE would be fine. PM me the details and I'll check it out.
