Hi

I have noticed at the 1 Spur we visited a while back that they have a video feed of the play area which is being shown on the TV's with the normal sport being shown in the background. The video feed of the play area was just a little box in the upper right hand corner.

Now I have a IP camera at home and a Samsung tv, is there a way/program which will enable me to watch TV as well as show a small box with the IP camera feed. This will enable me to keep an eye on our toddler while I watch sport on a Saturday.

If your tv can handle Picture in picture, this should be possible. Look under settings.

Media stick with a camera app,tv with picture in picture, done and dusted

All depends on what inputs your TV has and how far your monitor for your CCTV is .
You could have a picture in picture with a feed from your DVR system.

Dude, just play with your kid. A much better solution.

I agree with you but there is sometimes where you would like to watch a program or have people over. It's then not practical to have everyone move to the bedroom where the little ones are playing..

Managed to figure out how the PIP (Picture-in-Picture) work on our TV, problem is you can only see the antenna channel if this makes sense.

So I can watch a DVD or play games which will be on a HDMI channel and the PIP screen can then display the TV Channel (DSTV).

Yeah some only allow some combinations for PiP

I'd get a media player stick with an app for the IP Camera to slot into HDMI then
