For the past 6 hours. I've been trying to change the default
ip address in the Dlink DSL-504G from the default 10.1.1.1 to
192.168.0.150 and it couldn't accept it. It keeps giving the
message:

"Warning: You may not be able to access the HTTP interface
after you submit. In such cases verify if route exists to
your HTTP interface".

I adjusted the routing table and did every combination but
it still won't work. Is is possible that I need to be
connected online to the DSL before it can accept IP
address changes? I'm doing it without any DSL connection.
If it doesn't require this. Hope someone can assist how
I can change the ip address. Many thanks.

Dear Broddy,

Please do the following.

On the back of the DSL-504G there is a little reset button.
Press release this 3 time, not holding down the button for longer than 1 sec.

This will factory reset the unit, now before start configuring the ISP details, first go to the LAN part and change your IP address.
Submit it and then change your PC to the same range.

Then you can configure the ISP details again.

Any questions, please contact me.
