I'm pretty rough on phones, and been happy on Cat phones for a while, considering going for the S75 which has satellite messaging coming in 2024, but it's a pricey item.

Anything else android under R10k that comes recommended?
gsmarena ponts me to Xiomi K60, Oppo Find X2 or Nokia XR20.
trying to find out if these can be bought here for instance directly through Vodacom (doesn't have to be contract) is proving impossible.

suggestions welcome, real life use even better.

cool. it seems incredibly hard to buy through the actual networks without visiting them. MTN's site is just as user unfriendly.

The price differences between what you see international and to the ZAR are insane.

connecteddevices.co.za are seemingly filling the gap with parallel imports. if you want to wait.

Blackview has a range of rugged smartphones. I see they have a coza website, but also sold by RuggedSA.
How well they perform I can't say. Probably more in the midrange.
