iPad 1 with No Service

I have an iPad 1 which has no 3G. It keeps saying No Service. The device was working a few days ago.

The client installed the Cydia and Installous software. After that The iPad has no 3G. Anything I can check to get the 3G Back.

I hope they haven't messed with the iOS.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Dunno about the iPad specifically but my iPhone 3GS has been struggling with reception after I installed 4.3.3. Vodacom & Apple slimy bastards both refused to acknowledge the problem even though I pointed out various online users with the same issues. VC quoted me ~R5000 for a new phone as apparently the iPhone isn't servicable & they won't replace as mine is 3 weeks out of warranty WTF!!??

Then last night when syncing with iTunes a carrier update came through. Hmm .. so ****ers, there was a problem with 4.3.3 carrier settings after all.

Anyway, just throwing it out there. Not sure which software you're running etc.

go into cydia and let it update all its libraries that it wants to, then completely power off and on the pad.
