Hello to all the esteemed MBB members,

What should be the first things that I need to do once I collect my "new" second hand iPad 1?

Cheers
G

1st gen iPad is still a very capable device. You'll only really notice the performance difference with the big games. The curved back is actually much nicer to hold than the flat surface of the later releases IMO.

You guys are funny huh

- which address should I use for the US iTunes?
- didn't pay much at all for it
- coming with a decent case

Bunch of clowns hey.
There are random US details generators on the google...

We're all comedians here, didn't you know?
- you can have multiple iTunes accounts, use an address generator? I think that's what I did.

If it does what he needs it to, why splurge on a newer iPad :/

I am still 100% happy with my iPad1 and have no plans to update to anything newer as yet, for what I need it works 100%
You can use any email address to register for a US iTunes a/c just google and you will find the process. If you want to get games then the US a/c is the way to go, if not then SA account is easier for payment of things.

Other suggestion is the Kenya store where you can use your SA CC.

Google for US states that don't charge VAT. There's about 6 of them. Then just use the address of a hotel in one of those states.
