I just bought one from cacellular, went into their sandton office - they seem to be the only guys who have the item in stock, the others you wait for weeks. I paid just under R8k.

There's a computer shop in Cresta mall for those in Joburg, bought a 64gb + Wifi iPad there, R11K. But shop around for accessories, you can get them cheaper and more variety elsewhere.

You were ripped off mate -- if your device includes 3G then you paid R2400 too much, if it's only wifi then you paid R4400 too much. Refer http://www.aureustech.co.za/products/apple/ipad

Point of warning to everyone interested in anything apple or computer related; avoid the Cresta store - when confronted they have openly told me that they will not adjust their prices as they know some poor fool is inevitably going to pay for the shiny new item in the window...

Yes I've use them, very happy with their service - I received the apple case for free with the iPad, check if this would apply to you. The rest of the items are not the cheapest though - I'd recommend shopping around if you want something other than the iPad.

Thanks - I read their post in the other thread as well, I want a wifi only version as it would be for home use (wifi all around) and I have a MiFi for when I need to use it elsewhere.
