or you can get the ipad2 16gb 3g from fnb for R200pm, and then from 8ta, the 10gb per month for R199. in other words, R20 more per month but 20 times as much data...
500mb on a ipad wont go very far, u will have to top up each month unless u hardly ever use the ipad. just a thought, use it, dont use it...

yeah i think at least a gb would be required for rich media consumption on the ipad 2...
Sure thing, but I've already got an iPad 2 so it's not for me. I just thought it was interesting to note that Vodacom are now offering it all of a sudden, and I'd imagine the take up will be huge.
The ad says a gig of data is R100 more.

Just called them ... apparently the amounts exclude VAT. So you need to add VAT on top of those amounts ... very strange.
Weird. It certainly doesn't say that on the brochure.

I actually thought you were not allowed to advertise items excluding. I asked the question: what is the total monthly cost expecting some addon for autosim, cli etc. However the lady just said you need to add VAT, and asked several times to confirm. If anyone hears different, please let me know.

Did you call Vodacom direct?
The brochure says, for example for the 16gb, R230 for the ipad, and 149 for mymeg 500. That's the normal price for mymeg 500, no?
Anyway, I'd call another branch or even IC directly.
