Anyone know if the price for the Air 2 will drop once the Pro is released? And who is generally the cheapest with the iPads. Thanks

I doubt it - the Pro is not replacing the Air 2, it is a new range on its own. The Air 2's prices would only come down if a successor to it is launched.

Generally the prices are the same everywhere, so either iStore/Incredible/Hifi Corp...the usual suspects. You could get it cheaper if somebody has it on special, so monitor the newspaper pamphlets and websites often.
 
I suspected so. Was debating holding on till the iPad Pro comes out to get my Air 2. Guess no use waiting.

I suspect the new version/iteration of Air will have pro features so don't be surprised if come next yr you feel a bit annoyed. The mag connector for peripherals will be awesome so just keep that in mind.
 
True. But I don't like to get them when they're new - they over price them then
 
Federico Viticci over at MacStories.net has posted an epic review of the Pro.

And given that he has long been one of the forerunners in replacing his Mac with an iPad – and developing complex iOS workflows to allow that – anyone wondering about whether to go for the Air or the Pro might find it a useful read.
