Hey Peeps,

Now - there has been a lot of chatter on the inter webs of iPad air owners who seem to be having a lot of ram crashes? Now, apparently Apple released a new batch of iPads which do not have this issue - and people are advised to return their iPads and swop to a new one.

I was wondering, does South Africa participate in these types of returning things? I know for the 3's overheating thing we didn't, but I haven't really been following apple since then.

Thanks and happy new year everyone!

These types of product recalls always refer to a specific set of batches; identifiable by their serial numbers.

I would doubt the validity of any reports that don't include this detail + product recall information is always available on Apple's website, so that would be a good place to start.

... and ito your question about whether SA is included -- yes, of course it is.
