Ipad & CellC

Hi, I'm gonna buy an Ipad (pretty much decided as I can get R3 000 back after purchase.

ANyhow wanted to know if anyone has experience with the data packages and the Ipad.
Does it work? etc

Read somewhere that iPad doesn't support 900 MHz only iPad 2.

Yep, current solution with cellc is if you have an iphone, just tether it to the IPAD and presto, cheap data and workable solution however if you don't have an iphone, i am sure other phones may work but cannot confirm sorry.

Good idea, but once you have played with the ipad you dont feel like having any laptop...u can do all your web and mail and media from it. I got it on mtn, pain in the ass to get 3G but the device does have its draw back with the switching to edge

Yeah decided to get the wifi only package and just create hotspot with my smartphone. Just doesn't justify R1500 extra.

iPad Wi-Fi 16GB R3899.95 OR
iPad Wi-Fi 32GB R4899.95?
Any benefit of the extra space?

Gonna get it some time this weekend. Standard bank will give me back R 3000 if I use my credit card so gonna dive on it.

Remember, with the 3G version, you also get a GPS. You don't get that with the wi-fi only version. I use the GPS feature often, so for me, the 3G version was the one to get.
