IPad charger

Isn't there an issue with amps?
My phone charger is output 5.0V, 0.85A while my iPad is 5.1V. 2.1A?
Don't think it would stop you, but wouldn't it be bad for the battery? (have absolutely no clue, would love to know as I've asked myself this many times).

Yes it's fine. The word "charger" is a bit misleading, kind of like the way we call traffic lights "robots". Wall wart (silly as it sounds) is a better name; it's just a DC power source.

It will only pull what is needed/supported by the phone
