IPad data in Italy

Hi. I am fortunate to be attending a congress in Rome in April.
Does anyone have any experience of using the iPad there wrt micro sim availability, data plans on prepaid etc?
Any help much appreciated.

I used TIM on prepaid think it was about 7euros per week uncapped. Just go to a TIM store. This was in milan & venice and coverage was good so i assume rome would be fine. Dont know about micro sims but know u can just cut a normal sim if u have to.

Thanks for the info... Another question.. Do you need to get a "Codice fiscale" before, or can they sort something like that out in the shop (As far as you know)
