iPad/iPhone App Catalogue program - anyone interested?

Not that i have a lot of files, but i would think that people would use this! I know i would!

that would be awesome. Thats my biggest pain with itunes at the moment. When clicking on the apps tab it takes forever to load. And when i go through them I see duplicates and some apps I have no clue about.

So i think this program would be awesome.

Great idea, with 4 iPhone/iPad/iPod devices in our house, this would help a lot to cut down on duplicate IPA's :)

Hopefully you manage to pull it off! ive book marked this thread so if you do ever get round to it please post future progress in this thread too! hehe

Good luck ;)

Ok i'm back - i'll be here for another two hours or so, and then i'll be away for most of the weekend.

if you guys need support running the iTunes IPA Sorter, now would be a good time to ask.

It will happen if there is no "iTunesMetadata.plist" in the IPA.
This happens on a few Apps that have been downloaded from places other than Apple (like Cydia/etc)

Those Apps will need a slight bit of manual help with renaming, but i've coded some "A.I" into the program to rename those files as well.
It does a good job though, don't worry - 90% of it should be renamed correctly.

I understand the Cydia part etc, but I have a couple from the Apple Kenya store that also say unknown device??? Other than that it works great. One thing I would like to see is maybe appending the version number to the folder name? (if possible) as I have a few version of certain apps, due to not wanting to upgrade some of my devices to latest iOS.

Keep up the good work :) So far you effort has helped me sort of +-1Gb of "fluff" apps that were duplicates or "broken" :)

I have Windows and Apple computers at home. Is it possible to get this to work on OS X? Thanks.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys :D

@vino, this works on any system that can run windows (win95 - win7). OSX not so much.

Am feeling a generous $10 donation coming along :)

PM your Paypal address bro, thanks for awesome apps like these.

One suggestion is a donate link if people want to donate, no nags as such, just a Yellow'ish paypal button :D . This should be on LifeHacker ;-)

Edit: couldn't resist, mybb is going down for a while with influx of page views incoming from Lifehacker :D.
