iPad no Internet connection

I got an odd issue with my iPad. I put on flight mode while on a flight and when I got off and set flight mode off it says, 'you have no data remaining in your current plan' and the Internet via sim doesn't work at all.

I am away from home with no wifi access. I am on a vodacom micro sim prepaid with about 300Mb remaining. It's a 3rd gen iPad. I have tried several reboots as well as removing the sim and reinserting it. All don't solve the problem. I am away from my iTunes pc too so can't restore there.

Google shows this has happened to a few people but the American solutions don't work.

Please help.

This happened to me a while back too. I eventually saw that under settings -> cellular data network the APN entry changed to something else by itself - make sure the APN is set to 'internet' - that solved my issue - hope it works for you too!

Hey thanks man. The apn has always been iPhone.vodacom.co.za and always worked. So I just changed to Internet and rebooted and I have Internet. This trick didnt work yesterday but then I didnt restart it.
