iPad Password Manager

ive considered LastPass , for $1 it looks good, have you used it?, how secure is it since its online?

$1? Says it's free when I look.

I do have it installed but I still have to migrate my information from my Blackberry over to it.

I use KyPass which syncs my Keepass password database with my Dropbox. Is more for storing passwords etc. not auto entering passwords on my device. You could also check out 1Password (pricey though) haven't used that much, do own it.

MiniKeePass with DropBox sync works for me. Just make sure you set a Pin and a close timeout. This ensures that both the PIN and master password are prompted for when you want to access the KeePass DB.

Edit: I've also integrated FireFox and putty with KeePass which works really well.

you need a subscription service to use it as far as im aware

I've just started entering my info without a problem. We'll see if they want to charge. :)

BTW - I'm cheating a bit by using voice dictation for all those long numbers (ID, Creditcard, etc) but wow is it making life simple. :)

EDIT - it seems there is a $1 pm charge for premium users - http://helpdesk.lastpass.com/upgrading-to-premium/

Second EDIT - I can also access my info via a browser.

I bought 1password pro. Working great for about 2 years. iCloud sync. Shared across my iPad , iPhone , pc.

It is worth every cent.

+1 for 1password. Also have Windows & Android clients for it so now matter what platform you're on you can access your passwords.

Sorry, you'll have to scribble it on a little yellow sticky note on your desk.

EDIT: Just seen this here
1Password is available for Mac and Windows only; we do not have a Linux version of 1Password. You can, however, use 1PasswordAnywhere to securely decrypt and view all of your 1Password information on any computer with a modern browser, including Linux and even Macs and Windows machines that do not have 1Password installed.
