I saw the Pro was about R2500 off the last couple of days, but if they changed it to 40% that would've been snapped up quick quick.
 
Where are you seeing the M1 laptops with eBucks? Since i can't find it on Ebucks store. is this at iStore direct?

They had the M1 Pro on the eBucks store for a few days at a discount, then apparently at 40% off, but they are gone now.

When will be getting the new Airs?

Was thinking of getting the 256GB but if they're running the suboptimal SSD like the 13" Pro then I'd have to go 512GB.

Just as an FYI. In the UK, the new Air 512GB is the same price as the new Pro 512GB.

But the Pro doesn’t have the bell’s and whistles like MagSafe, 1080p Cam and the smaller bezels.

The 14” Pro is overkill for me so I have been holding out for the new Air but I won’t compromise on the shitty storage in the 256GB because it affects everything.

Yeah - they're talking kak - if it can last on battery for +-2-5 they'll take it.

Complain to HQ if not - see sample ad posted above.

It's the quad channel circuit + using large single flash that's the problem. You have quad channels choked into a single bus where as M1 used minimum two flash chips which doubles real bandwidth. You'll have to go 512GB for the 256GB x2 flash chips

Complaining to HQ doesn't help.

They had a deal a few months back where you didn't pay any interest on the Air and the stores refused to acknowledge the deal. They said head office sent out an email explaining the T&C and they just following the guidelines they were sent.

It seems they love false advertising.

It seemed to apply to any laptop, but according to their T&Cs it finished yesterday already.

Honestly, the best value machine in Apples Macbook range right now is the 14 Pro.

Probably the best machine I have ever used. Actually quite a versatile machine coming from a Linux desktop & using VM's to esign docs....it is absolute bliss.

Also, the battery life is absolutely UNHOLY.
