Ok, so I'v set up IPCop on an old P-II and I want to access the web interface, but my computer can't get an IP address from it.

Please help! Is there anything that i might have done incorrectly? :o

Any help will seriously be apreciated! ;)

But when I hook up the network cable to the 2nd NIC, the light on the back of the card and on the switch doesnt light up at all. So I assumed that it is the Red NIC and that it must still be configured, is that the way its supposed to be or could it be a faulty NIC?

I did this a while back so it is from memory, but I do remember that the setup of both nics weren't apparent at first. You have to select or autodetect both nics and assign either red or green to them.
But first make sure both cards and the cables are working ;)

nGAGEd55, your problem there is definitely a dead NIC...
Well it was :p

All I did is swap the one that seemed dead out with an identical card, and it worked! :D

Anyways, thanks for the advice guys! ;)
