I managed to setup an ipcop router which splits local and international bandwidth as according to the guide here, however I've run into a problem with dynamic dns updates.

The red interface is set up on eth1 with 2 pppoe connections, ppp0 (international) and ppp1 (local). I use freedns.afraid.org to manage the zone entries and dynamic dns updates for my domain. I have a cron job running an ip update script which connects to the url http://freedns.afraid.org/dynamic/update.php?XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX which automatically updates your ip to the one which it detects (international ip on ppp0).

This is a problem for me since IPCop port forwarding automatically uses the ppp1 interface for forwarding, so when I try connect to www.mydomain.co.za, it ignores the request since the ip which is dynamically uopdated is an international one, yet the IPCop only port forwards on the local one.

Has anyone else encounted this problem or managed to fix it?
