IPCP error on router - Mega 200VWR

Hi

Since yesterday my adsl router keeps dropping my connection and where it usually says "connection established" it says "incorrect ipcp configuration" and the connection is then gone and doesnt want to reconnect, have to restart my router..

Havent changed anything on my router and it has been working perfectly since i got it a year ago..

Have googled this issue and they say its a problem with billion routers, might be wrong. Anyone else know whats wrong or how to fix this?

Have a look in your event log - normally gives a line by line breakdown of what is or is not happening!

I posted a ? on the 1/1/09 for a way to pull the complete event log OR continously tap it but had no reply - seems MEGA200VWR is old news! :(

:mad: I had the problem too with the Telkom Billion 800VGT crap! Exchanged it yesterday for a new one (I contracted with the devil) with still having the same problem.

I solved the problem today: I bought a netgear...:D
 
I have a Billion 800VGT for quiet sometime now and I experience no problems with it. Did you ask your service provider to refresh your account?
