iPhone 13 discussions

Not a chance. iPhone 11 and 12 maybe, but the iPhone 13 series has such a global stock shortage issue, that you won't find cash deals anywhere.
ohooooo, So all current phones on the market are fake phones

Google Pixel 6 Pro vs. iPhone 13 Pro Max vs. Galaxy S21 Ultra Battery Test - PhoneBuff

Absolutely insane how Apple got so much more battery usage out of a smaller battery along with 120Hz screen with the 13 Pro Max hey, love to see it, I hope they continue with big batteries in the 14 range to!

It actually is the first phone to knock the iPhone 11 Pro Max off the #1 spot in PhoneBuff Battery Test rankings

How does that have anything to do with supply chain constraints?
In SA shortages are due to supply chain constrains or Demand for the phones has declined in the market

Not sure for this?

Can confirm - my brother went to a couple places in the States over the past week trying to find a cash deal but they only had contract options on offer. :(

My dad battled to get three iPhones for his grandkids here. Apple kept cancelling order after order and eventually blacklisted him.

He had to rope in a friend to complete the order and Apple even went as far to contact the friend, out of the blue, to ask if he knew my dad.

Really? Read the news. It's supply strain constraints. It's a known fact.

I had my name on a waiting list at 3 iStores - still no stock. Got lucky and got the 13 Pro Max from Digicape the day they had a shipment come in. They sold all their stock on the same day!

The iStore is a mess. I got an amazing experience through Cellucity and even MTN (cancelled with them for Vodacom via Cellucity)

Please dont ever by from the iStore, anyone else is better. I'd go digicape any time over them or even the smaller guys who are really helpful. Heck, even the corner vodacom store will offer you better service.

Gotten ALL my Apples from the iStore, have had the best service I’ve gotten in SA in probably a decade each time.

I've had great service from the iStore too. Bought my custom M1 MBP from them and had a great customer service.
Their trade-in program and free iCare is a big pull factor for me. If they had stock I would have bought from them - trading in your iPhone is a lot less hassle free than selling it 2nd hand, even if you get less Money.

Apple iPhone 13 shortages to continue until February

Apple has suffered less than many of its competitors from the global chip shortages, but it still took a hit and even its golden goose iPhone lineup was affected.

Digitimes's supply chain sources have now added a bit more details saying that the new iPhone 13 lineup's stock won't be able to match the demand until at least February.

Apple's heavy cash reserves helped the company to mitigate the chip shortages is some areas. For instance, TSMC has reserved many of its production lines for Apple's chips, but even so a bunch of legacy chips are still in short supply and that prevents the phones from being built.

Damnit. Upgrade is due next month.

been holding out for an upgrade for the past 2 months...sigh, this was meant to be my first apple.

Damnit. Upgrade is due next month.

There's virtually no stock around. Apple Stores are getting tiny amounts and selling out immediately and online they are giving around a month for a delivery date.

Networks are also getting small amounts, which network are you with?

Guess I was really lucky to get mine on upgrade, although I didn’t realise it at the time. Sent paperwork on the Monday and got the phone on the Thursday
