iphone 13 question

My work phone is an Iphone 13 and this thing is a pain in the ass. There is a switch on the left hand side that activates the silent mode...Unfortunately this phone lives in my pocket with keys and knives and pliers and all sorts of stuff as I go about my day and the button is sometimes knocked into the silent mode...Is there anyway to totally disengage this button so it has no function and can no longer go into silent mooe?
Ive had a look on Google and it seems it can be deactivated?

I was going to suggest changing the settings for silent mode but yeah, internet suggests this can't be done.
Apparently later models have this ability.
Does it have a cover? Maybe a thicker cover which means that button is a bit more indented? Or a hack where you stick something on that section of the cover so it's completely closed off?
That's all I got mate.
That or maybe start it in silent mode, maybe it'll just get knocked into normal.

It’s boomer things. Younger people won’t have this problem. I treat my gear hard, and this doesn’t happen.
