iPhone 16 Series

Did anyone who ordered through Makro get their complimentary charger?

I only got back home a couple days ago and the box they sent only had the phone in it. I've emailed them asking about it.
Still trying to get Makro to send me the free charger they promised me.

Had no response to my ticket from mid-November until 2 days ago when a human eventually replied but just saying they're transferring my ticket to another department

I'm really not worried about a charger, it's just the damn principle of the thing. Don't tell somebody that you're doing something and then just not do it, I'll fight this thing if it takes me the entire year.

Same, remember about it every couple of weeks and then fire off a mail asking about it.

I saw that Pro Max in real life recently. That thing is huge! Impractical for me, unless I got a backpack.

There might be some movement on my free charger.

Just got an invoice email from Makro Germiston (no idea why them, I'm in CPT) for a 20W Apple charger. Haven't received any update from my ticket yet, although I did eventually get somebody to reply on my Twitter post and sent them a DM with my ticket number. Maybe that helped, who knows.

Question regarding chargers.

My 2-year old 13 had battery health of 95% when I traded it in on a 16 Pro. I consider that excellent. Always used the standard Apple 20w (IIRC) charger. I have a 30w Snüg charger for the iPad that I am using for my phone now too. It charges very rapidly but I wonder how good it is longer term? I know Apple says 30w is fine and battery and charger management and all that. My experience with other non-lithium batteries seems to point to slower being better.

I'm leaning toward getting a lower wattage charger to maintain battery health. I normally charge overnight and don't often have a need for very quick charging. What say you guys?
