Guys,

Any idea where I can buy the invisible shield for the iphone 3g? If you havent checked it out have a look at http://www.zagg.com/

I've also been looking at gelaskins? http://www.gelaskins.com/

Which should I go for? Does anyone know whether the apple store in sandton has this in stock and a wide range of accessories for the I-3g??

rather go to www.dealextreme.com and buy all your iphone accesories. I bought the docking station with TV out, a car charger, the AV cable TV out and another USB cable for R350 in total with delivery.

Edit, included in the price I bought 2 silicone covers and 2 screen protrectors.

I see Apple making alot of accessories for the phone!
Our first demo unit came with a docking station and a pouch.

The Invisibleshield and Gelaskins are quite different products, in that the Invisibleshield is far more of a protector as you get a cover for the back and front of the iPhone (when you purchase the Full Body Kit). The material used by Invisibleshield is scratch proof and exceptionally strong once applied, so for total protection without bulking the phone up the Invisibleshield is great. The Gelaskins are really nice aesthetic enhancements to the iPhone, the back sticker that you apply does server as protection against scratches etc but there is no front cover, however you do get a free download from the Gelaskins website for the matching wallpaper for your iPhone. So, protection = Invisibleshield, Aesthetic = Gelaskins.

Stock flew out since the launch last week so we are unfortunately sold out at the moment on Invisibleshield Full Body kits, but have screen only in stock. Links below

Hi Ryan411, yes, we stock the Invisibleshields for Omnia, both full body and screen only, and more stock is arriving on Monday 3 November. Please email your details through to [email protected] and a consultant will get in touch with you.

InvisibleShield's are great I have one. Only problem is the corners didn't stick properly and now there is dust inside so it wont stick. :(

Gelaskin!! ;)

Like there slogan is: Protection with style...

I second that Pooky, my corners also didn't stick that well.. I snipped them with my pocket knife and now they over lap, looks better than a bubble in each corner.

How do you mean?

The clear cover are nice because they slip better into your pocket. The problem I found was that dust gets in between the cover and the phone & thats scratches it from inside

I've got a SPECK ToughtSkin and that works very well :D

I'm ordered a invisible shield and gelaskin for my iphone. I'll put the front cover of the invisible shield on and the sweet looking gelaskin on the back, best of both worlds :D

I see a couple of people saying u only have one chance to put the invisibleSHIELD on. If u stuff it up, then it's all over. Is that true?
