iPhone 3GS - 32GB

It would be nice if someone did have stock, even of the white 16GB 3GS, but same old story, no stock and no idea when there will be stock

ASSAGAI....... would you say that battery life of the 3GS is better than the 3G ?

no.. worse

i have been playing around with it a lot so maybe that adds to the battery drain, typically i get one working day out of it - 8-12 hours

AWESOME! Got a white cover 32GB.

Did you get your iphone recently, Elite?

I keep getting different stories.. Theres stock, theres no stock, in 2 weeks time, indefinetely..

So what is it?

Got one from the first batch afaik. been using it a while.
Also, forgot it in my car in the sun, the Belkin rubber cover was "sweating/snotty" but the phone was fine. no heat issues so far...

Dunno, I'd say more the same than the plain 3G. didn't notice much difference.

Got a 16GB last Thursday at Vodacom store in Long Beach Mall

Does MMS work on anybody's 3G/3GS phones?
I can't get it to work...tried last night AGAIN...but my friend's MMS on his 3G work though...it seems like some work and some don't!!

Guys, if you checked back you would have seen that I posted that Apple is unable to confirm the ETA for us....therefore the stories you are getting at the stores....it is not because the sales people are ignorant....it is because they truely do not know. We go according to a daily stock update from Vodacom....and they go according to the supplier. If the supplier can not confirm the ETA then we can not give you a date.

Hey ALL: You won't believe my LUCK!!! I found one, must be the last one in the country??? 32GB 3GS....yeah baby YEAHHHHHHH :D:D:D.
(will keep you posted of my findings)

Here the settings for MMS Hennie

set it up manually:

Follow these steps:

Click on SETTINGS
Click on GENERAL
Click on NETWORK
Click on CELLULAR DATA NETWORK
Add these setting in under the MMS tab:
· APN : mms.vodacom.net

· Username: “leave blank”

· Password: “leave blank”

· MMSC: mmsc.vodacom4me.co.za

· MMS Proxy: 196.006.128.013:8080

· MMS Max Message Size: “leave blank”

· MMS UA Prof URL: “leave blank”

Your MMS should then be setup. To send an sms, simply open up the MESSAGES APP, and click on New Message, you will now see next to the Text input bar a small camera icon, click that to add MMS content to the message.

Yea, this is pretty crap, a few days ago it was available everywhere, now it is as scares as chicken teeth. But yea, with a world wide shortage, don't expect anything soon.
