Ok, so Apple said the South African release date for the iPhone 3GS (iPhone 3G S) is 9 July. Vodacom said in a press release, but nowhere on their site, it would be out in July.
So my question is, where the hell is it? I'll bet the official Vodacom comment will be "We need time to test it on our network." Because of course the 3GS is a completely different phone to the 3G. New software, new hardware, proprietary Apple GSm chipset, Russian made 50 Calibre built into the earpiece... Oh wait! Its the same as the 3G.
Any ideas? Any official statements?
All I have seen so far from Vodacom is this: http://www.hellopeter.co.za/the_comment.php?id=291000&company=Vodacom&industryId=&happiness=
