I had it for 2 months, very happy indeed. I use extensively the "Vodacom 3G" signal and it is ideal to get my office emails & web access. I live in Sandton where this signal is widely available.
Problem is, out of the blue the "Vodacom 3G" vanishes and is replaced by a signal "Vodacom" only.
When this happens, both internet access and email access are gone. This is often most of the time.
I tried turning the 3G on and off. changing the APN, you name it, nothing works.
The only solution is to switch the iPhone OFF. After restart the Vodacom 3G is back, for the next hour or so.
Any ideas?
I visited the Vodacom shops to no avail, I can't keep switching this phone ON/OFF, to get it right.
I have the latest firmware, 3.12
