iPhone 3GS for R3400?

OK, so I found this website online, emailed the guy a couple of times and it turns out that the company has a store in Mimosa Mall, bloemfontein.

They claim to sell NON-FAKE iPhones, brand new for $420. The guy told me that they are a registered company and they don't sell fakes, and that I should come and new the unit at their store? It all sounds to good to be true? Has anyone heard of them? I stay in Johannesburg and will only be able to view the phone tomorrow. What you guys think?

If it was really a big scam, why would they own a shop in a mall? The guy insisted that I come and view the phone first to prove that it was infact a real iPhone.. but ja, the price doesn't make sence does it... Before I buy anything I'm going to check the serial number online to see if it's legit...
 
Yeah, but then what local store is going to sell in USD?
Just be careful that you're not walking into a snare that may have them bleddy hijacking you.
Don't go alone would be my advice.
 
lol, atleast they are in bloem, not as dodgy as in Jhb, lol... and im sure I'll be fine inside a mall :) But yea, I will be on full alert, it's probably a fake iPhone....
 
dude definitely a fake.. "if it sounds too good to be true.." etc etc.

you may think you have nothing to lose, but personally I wouldn't waste my time..

as rossaudio said, thats the same price list they spam all over the place which just has scam written all over.. why would they post their prices in USD.. its just a universal scam price list that they all use.

but if you want to waste your time, let us know what was there :p
 
Mimosa Mall, best mall in bloemfontein, great area, so that's why it's wierd... if they have a shop inside the mall then surely something must be happening, lol... but I'll have a look tomorrow and report back. if it turns out to be fake i'll revert to buying one on ebay.

So you have dealt with this guy? Did you go and have a look at the phone? Yes, if it takes a memory card, then it's FAKE!

You'll have to ask EchoZA, he is the man, shipped it the next day after payment.

Think he only has a 3GS for sale now, but not as cheap.

Kingdon? Wow :) I wouldn't really bother, but if you are going to be in the area go check it out. I saw an add for iphone 3G for 3000, went to check it out, the oke slides off the back and sticks a sim card in it. I turned around and walked out.

lol yea, that was definatly a fake one. They cannot open :) I've made a list of stuff to look for so I can tell the diffs between the real deal and Clone. I sent the guy a email asking if the the iphone he sells takes a Memory Card. I also told him that if he lies to me and I pichup and it's a clone Im going to beat his face! Don't have time for these idiots, seriouslly..
